Ramadan Duas – 20 Important Duas for Read in Ramadan
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed person; Allah raises it up above the clouds and opens the gates of heaven to it.
1.Dua for Reaching Ramadan
Transliteration: Allahumma Barik Lana Fi Rajab Wa Sha’ban Wa Ballighna Ramadan.
Translation: O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’baan blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadaan.”
Transliteration: Allahumma Sallimni Ila Ramadan Wa Sallim Li Ramadan Wa Tasallamhu Minni Mutaqabbala.
Translation: O Allah! Preserve me until Ramadan, safeguard Ramadan for me and accept it from me (receive my deeds with acceptance).
2.Dua after Seeing the Crescent Moon – Ramadan Moon Sighting Dua
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Whenever you sight the new moon (of the month of Ramadan) observe fast. and when you sight it (the new moon of Shawwal) break it, and if the sky is cloudy for you, then observe fast for thirty days.
Transliteration: Allahumma Ahillahu Alayna Bil umni Wal Iman Was Salamati Wal Islam Rabbi Wa RabbUkAllah.
Translation: O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and security and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.
3.Dua for Fasting of Ramadan – Dua Of Suhoor
Transliteration: Nawaitu sauma ghadin anadai fardu shahri ramadhana hazihissanati lillahitaala.
Translation: I intend to do obligatory fast tomorrow in the month of Ramadan this year because of Allah.
Transliteration: Nawaitu An Asuma Ghadan Lillahi Ta’ala Min Saumi Ramadan Ya Nawaitu bi saumi ghadin.
Translation: I intended to fast tomorrow for the sake of God Almighty as part of Ramadan. I intended to fast tomorrow.
4.Dua to read at Suhoor
Transliteration: Ya Wasial Maghfiratigh fir li.
Translation: Oh the One of abundant forgiveness! Forgive me.
5.Read this Dua Abundantly in Ramadan
Transliteration: Ashadu An La Ilaha Illallah Astaghfirullah As Alukal Jannata Wa A’uzu Bika Minannar.
Translation: I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, O Allah forgive me, give me Paradise, protect me from Hell Fire.
6.If Someone Angers You When You are Fasting
Transliteration: Inni sa’im, inni sa’im.
Translation: I’m fasting, I’m fasting.
7.Read this dua from Asr to Maghrib in Ramadan
Transliteration: Ya Wasial Fazli Ighfir li.
Translation: Oh the One who is great in Bounties, Forgive me.
8.Dua for Breaking the Fast (Iftar)
Transliteration: Allahumma Laka Sumtu Wa Bika Aamantu Wa Alayka Tawakkaltu Wa Ala Rizqika Aftartu.
Translation: O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You and I put my trust in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance.

Transliteration: Zahabaz Zama’u Wabtallatil Urooqu Wa Sabatal Ajru Inshallah.
Translation: Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure if Allah wills.

10.Dua For The One Who Invites You For Iftar
Transliteration: Aftara indakumus saimun wa akala ta’amakumul abrar wa sallat alaikumul malaikah.
Translation: May the fasting (men) break their fast with you, and the pious eat your food, and the angels pray for blessing on you.

11.Dua of Taraweeh
Transliteration: Subhana dhil Mulki wal Malakuti, Subhana dhil izzati wal aDhmati wal haybati wal Qudrati,wal kibriyaa’i wal jabaroot Subhanal Malikil hayyil ladhi, la yunaamu wa layamutu, Subbuhun, Quddusun, Rabbul malaa’ikati war-rooh Allahumma Ajirnee Minan Naar, Ya Mujeero, Ya Mujeero, Ya Mujeer
Translation: Glory be to the owner of the kingdom of the earth and the heavens. Glory be to he who commands respect and honour and magnificence & awe and power and greatness and omnipotence. Glory be to the sovereign, the ever-living. Who does not sleep nor die. He is the most praised, the most holy, our lord and the lord of all the angels and the spirit (jibraeel alayhi salaam). O allah! Save us from the fire of hell. O protectori o protector! O protector!
12.Dua for First 10 Days of Ramadan – Days of Mercy
Transliteration: Rabbigh fir warham Wa Anta Khairur Rahimeen.
Translation: O! My Lord forgive and have Mercy and You are the Best of Merciful.
Transliteration: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum birahmatika astaghis.
Translation: Oh Everliving, The Everlasting, I seek Your help through Your mercy
13.Dua for Second Ashra of Ramadan – Days of Forgiveness
Transliteration: Astaghfirullah rabbi min kulli zambiu wa atobu ilaiyh
Translation: I ask forgiveness of my sins from Allah who is my Lord and I turn towards Him.
Transliteration: Allahummaghfirli zunubi ya rabbal aalameen.
Translation: Oh Allah forgive my sins, O Lord of the worlds
14.Dua for Third Ashra of Ramadan – Days of Seeking Refuge
Transliteration: Allahumma Ajirni Minannar.
Translation: O Allah! Save me from the Hell – Fire.
Translation: O Allah, Lord of all, save me from Hellfire and admit me to Paradise.
15.Dua for Laylatul Qadr
Transliteration: Allahumma innaka affuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa’fu anni.
Translation: O Allah! Verily You are most forgiving. You love to forgive, therefore forgive me.

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْناَ بِالْإِيْمَانِ كَامِلِيْنْ، وَلِلْفَرَآئِضِ مُؤَدِّيْنَ، وَلِلصَّلَاةِ حَافِظِيْنَ، وَلِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلِيْنَ، وَلِمَا عِنْدَكَ طَالِبِيْنَ، وَلِعَفْوِكَ رَاجِيْنَ، وَبِالْهُدَى مُتَمَسِّكِيْن، وَعَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضِيْنَ، وَفِي الدُّنْيَا زَاهِدِيْنَ، وَفِي الْأَخِرَةِ رَاغِبِيْنَ، وَبِالْقَضَاءِ رَاضِيْنَ، وَبِالنَّعْمَاءِ شَاكِرِيْنَ، وَعَلَى الْبَلاءِ صَابِرِيْنَ، وَتَحْتَ لِوَاءِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَائِرِيْنَ، وَإِلَى الْحَوْضِ وَارِدِيْنَ، وَفِي الْجَنَّةِ دَاخِلِيْنَ، وَمِنَ النَّارِ نَاجِيْنَ، وَعَلَى سَرِيْرَةِ الْكَرَامَةِ قَاعِدِيْنَ، وَبِحُوْرِ عيْنٍ مُتَزَوِّجِيْنَ، وَمِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَاِسْتَبْرَقٍ وَدِيْبَاجٍ مُتَلَبِّسِيْنَ، وَمِنْ طَعَامِ الْجَنَّةِ آكِلِيْنَ، وَمِنْ لَبَنٍ وَعَسَلٍ مُصَفًّى شَارِبِيْنَ، بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيْقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعِيْنٍ، مَعَ الَّذِيْنَ أَنعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّين والصِّدِّيقِينَ والشُّهَدَاءِ والصَّالِحِين، وحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا، ذَلِكَ الْفَضْلُ مِنَ اللهِ وَكَفَى بِاللهِ عَلِيْمًا، وَالحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ
Transliteration
Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. alhamdulillahi rabil alamin, wassalatu wadsalam ala ashrafil anbia’i walmursalin sayyidina wamaulana muhammadiu wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajmaeen.
Allahumma-ja’alna bil imani kamilain, wa lil faraizi mu’addin, walissalati hafizin, walizzakati faeelin wa lima indaka talibin, wa li afwik rajin, wabilhuda mutamassikin, wa anil laghwi muridin, wafiddunya zahidin, wafial akhirati raghibin, wabilqaza’i radin, wabinnama’i shakirin, wa’alalbala’i sabirin, wa tahta liwa’i sayyidina muhamadin sallallahu alaihi wasallama yaumal qiyamati sayirin,
Wa ilaal hauzi waridin, wafiljanati dakhilin, wa minannari najin, wa’alas sariratilkaramati qaidin, wabihuri eynin mutazawwijin, wamin sundusiwwa istabraqiwwa dibajim mutalabbisin, wamin ta’amil jannati aakilin, wamin labaniw wa asalim musafan sharibin, bi’akwab wa’abariq wak’asim min maeen, ma’alazin an’amta alayhim minan nabiiyna wassiddiqina washshuhada’i wassalihin, wa hasuna ulayika rafiqa, zalikal fazlu minallah wakafaa billahi aliman, walhamdu lillahi rabbil a’alamin
Translation:
In the name of Allah the Most Gracious and Most Merciful. Praise be to the Lord of all the Worlds, prayers and salutations be upon the noblest of all the prophets, our leader (sayyidina) Muhammad, and upon his entire family and companions.
O Allah make us from those who have complete faith, perform all obligations, guard their prayers, give zakat, seek that which is due from You, hope for Your forgiveness, hold on firmly to guidance, turn away from futile acts, show no interest for worldly pleasures, desire the life of the hereafter, are pleased with the divine decree, are thankful for Your blessings, are patient during trials, would walk under the flag of our leader (sayyidina) Muhammad s.a.w. on the Day of Judgement.
Would arrive to the Prophet’s well (in the hereafter), would enter the Paradise, would be saved from the hellfire, would sit on the honoured mattresses (of paradise), would be married to the companions of Paradise, would be adorned with garments (of paradise) from Silk and Brocade, would eat from the food of Paradise, would drink from the milk and pure honey in the cups and goblets from the fountain of clear-water, in the company of those You bestow blessings upon them from amongst the Prophets, the righteous, the martyrs and the pious and what a great company do they make, and it is sufficient that Allah is All-Knowing, and praise be to Allah the Lord of all Worlds
17.Dua For Success
Transliteration: Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba’da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah innaka antal-Wahhab.
Translation: Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.
(Al-Imran : 8)
18.Dua For The Good Of This World And The Aakhirah
Transliteration: Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil ‘akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar.
Translation: Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!
(Surah Baqarah : 201)
19.Dua For Good Health And Character
Transliteration: Allahumma innee asa’luka sihhatan fi eeman, wa eeman fi husni khuluq, wa najahee yatba’ahu falah, wa rahmaatan minka wa ridwaana.
Translation: O Allah, I ask You for the health of my faith, such faith in good character, and salvation leading to success, Your mercy, Your wellness, Your forgiveness, and Your pleasure.
